INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler women's basketball team took the floor for the first time this season on Sunday afternoon as they hosted the DePauw Tigers at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Bulldogs used the entire roster on their way to recording a 63-41 win.

10 different players scored at least one field goal for Butler as the Bulldogs used a big second half to pull away from last season's undefeated Tigers. Liz Stratman led the team in scoring and senior Daress McClung joined her teammate with a double figure scoring total.

Butler used Sunday's game to prepare for next week's season home opener against Cleveland State. The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip on Friday, Nov. 8.
