Internet Address for Women's Basketball Broadcasts Has Been Changed

Jan. 15, 2004

Due to several departments within the university being renamed, the internet address to access broadcasts of the women's basketball team's games has changed. The new address is www.butler.edu/mediaarts/basketball.htm.

The change was brought on by the university's Telecommunication Arts department being renamed the Media Arts department. Because of the change, the department's Web pages have experienced a similar name change.

For listeners who access the broadcasts through www.butlersports.com--selecting the "Click Here to Listen Live" link on the "Listen Live" page of www.butlersports.com--you should experience no problems in accessing the broadcast because all of the links to the broadcast on www.butlersports.com will be updated before Saturday's 2 p.m. game.

For listeners who have bookmarked the women's basketball broadcast page, you will need to access the broadcast through www.butlersports.com and re-bookmark the site. Because the page you originally bookmarked "no longer exists," you will be automatically re-directed to the main page of the Media Arts department. If this occurs, scroll to the bottom of the page and find the "Looking for Butler Women's Basketball broadcasts? Click here" link and select it.

Just as before, once you have accessed the women's basketball broadcast page (the dark blue page with pictures of Nancy Bowden, Stephanie Boeke and coach Beth Couture), just select the "Listen" link and you will be connected to the broadcast through RealOne Player.

Butler Athletics apologizes for this confusion and hopes you tune into Josh Rattray and Melinda Quasius as they bring you all of the action of the second half of the Bulldogs' season.
