Michele Nash Named League Golfer of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- Senior Michele Nash, who led Butler to the team title at the Butler Spring Invitational, has been named Horizon League Women’s Golfer of the Week for the period March 21-27.

Nash earned medalist honors at the six-team tournament with rounds of 76 and 77, finishing two strokes ahead of runner-up Cathy Doyle of Evansville.  It was her fourth “Top 5” individual finish this spring.

Led by Nash, the Bulldogs rolled to the team championship.  Butler finished with a 36-hole total of 639, 32 strokes better than runner-up Evansville.

The Butler women will return to action at the Big Four Tournament at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel on Thursday, April 5.
