Molly Fields Paces Butler At Don Benbow Invitational
Junior Molly Fields posted a Top 10 individual finish and Butler wound up eighth in the team competition at the Don Benbow Invitational, hosted by Butler in Jacksonville, Fla., on Monday and Tuesday (March 8-9). Houston Baptist won the 11-team tournament played at the Jacksonville Beach Golf Course.

Butler Places Fourth At Ann Rhoads Shootout
With the snow and cold of Indianapolis a distant memory, Butlers womens golf team kicked off the 2010 spring season with a fourth place finish at the 36-hole Ann Rhoads/Birmingham Southern Shootout at Timberline Golf Club in Calera, Ala. The Bulldogs finished with a two-day total of 657, four strokes behind Evansville in third place.

Butler, bolstered by two players among the Top 15 individuals, wound up placing fifth in the 17-team F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate womens golf tournament, which wrapped up at Clarksville Country Club on Tuesday (Oct. 20).

Junior Molly Fields placed among the Top 20 individuals and helped lift Butler to an 11th place team finish at the Duramed Mid-American Conference Preview, which wrapped up at Hawthorns Golf and Country Club in Fishers on Tuesday (Oct. 13). The Bulldogs were one of 16 teams competing in the 54-hole tournament.

Butler Ties For Fifth Place In Fall Womens Golf Invitational
The Bulldogs picked up a pair of Top 10 individual performances and wound up tied for fifth place in the team standings at the Butler Fall Golf Invitational held at Eagle Creek Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6. Butler climbed two spots in the team standings on the final day.

Junior Molly Fields defeated sophomore teammate Michele Nash in a playoff to claim medalist honors and the two co-leaders helped pace Butler to the team title at the PTSIR Golf Performance Classic, which concluded at Lost Marsh Golf Course in Hammond, Ind., on Tuesday (Sept. 23). The Bulldogs led the 10-team field by seven strokes.
