Butler Women's Soccer Update

Head women's soccer coach Tari St. John will join coaches, administrators and sports professionals from around the nation as a facilitator in the NCAA Career in Sports Forum. The four-day event will host 400 current student-athletes who are interested in coaching. It will be held downtown at the Marriott Downtown May 11-14.

St. John, along with other Butler coaches including volleyball coach Sharon Clark and women's basketball assistant Amy Cherubini, will be teaching applicable concepts such as communication, networking, recruiting, managing culture, transitioning and budgeting. There is a two-day training session for the facilitators in April which will help them teach and engage as mentors. Facilitators will also serve as advisors to the NCAA Student-Athlete Affairs unit.

Incoming soccer freshman Olivia Colosimo was invited to the Canada U20 World Cup camp. Colosimo, a midfielder from Thunder Bay, Canada, starts training at the Team Canada camp Wednesday, May 12. The camp is the beginning of training for a spot on Team Canada for the 2012 World Cup.
