The Butler women's soccer team will take a 1-1 Horizon League record into a tough Wisconsin road swing this weekend. Butler will face Green Bay Friday evening before playing league leader Milwaukee Sunday afternoon.

The Bulldogs dropped two tough matches last week following their 1-0 victory over Wright State back on Sept. 26. BU dropped a road contest at IUPUI and lost at home to Valparaiso. Opponents' penalty kicks were key in both matches. At IUPUI, the Jaguars led 2-1 when IUPUI got a PK in the 48th minute to take command. It was an even bigger factor on Sunday as Butler lost 1-0 to Valpo on a PK in the 38th minute.

Butler's leading scorer, sophomore Katie Griswold, missed last week's match at IUPUI due to injury but was back in the lineup over the weekend. She owns six of BU's nine goals this season and ranks third in the Horizon League in goals per game (0.55) and fourth in points per game (1.09).

Green Bay (2-6-2) is aiming for its first league win. The Bulldogs have had success against the Phoenix, defeating Green Bay two of the last three years and owning a 16-5 all-time mark in the series.

Milwaukee (6-4-2), usually the league's top team, enters this week ranked third in the NSCAA's Great Lakes region poll. The Panthers are led by the league's leading scorer, Sarah Hagen, and have two wins over teams in the NCAA's RPI top 20.

Following the matches at Green Bay and Milwaukee, BU will host Loyola Friday, Oct. 15 at the Butler Bowl at 4 p.m.
