Butler Falls In Final Regular Season Game
GREEN BAY, WIS. -- Butler allowed just four hits and blanked
host Green Bay in five of six innings, but still came up on the

League series at Ben Garot Field on Thursday (May 6). The

two runs on five hits. She picked up win in each game of the
three-game sweep.
Butler scored it first run in the third inning. Senior Annie
Dolan reach on an infield error and with one out, scored on a
single by sophomore Erin Falkenberry. The Bulldogs’
final run came in the seventh inning on a single by Melissa
Shofroth, a double by Dolan and an infield ground out by Lauren
McNulty.
Freshman Jenny Esparza (17-10) went the distance on the mound for
the Bulldogs. She struck out seven and walked two in the
contest.

dropped to 35-17 on the year and 11-11 in the Horizon League.
