Travel issues that prevented Butler from reaching New York this weekend have forced the postponement of the Bulldogs' three-game BIG EAST softball series at St. John's, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday (March 29-30). The games have been rescheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, April 1-2, in Queens, N.Y.
Butler's team was headed to the airport to depart for New York when word arrived that the flight had been cancelled. The team was unable to secure another flight, causing the postponement.
Butler and St. John's will meet in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. on Tuedsday, April 1, and then will conclude the series with a single game on Wednesday, April 2, starting at noon.
The Bulldogs' non-conference doubleheader at Morehead State, originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 2, has been moved to Wednesday, April 9.
