AS A SENIOR (2005): Two days after the completion of the basketball season, Marchesano appeared in Butler's starting line-up at Indiana State's Sycamore Classic...it was her first softball action in four years...started 48 games at shortstop...batted .218...had a team-high 17 sacrifices...batted in nine runs and scored 16...had seven doubles...stole seven bases.

Marchesano joined the Butler softball team for her senior season after a four-year career on the Bulldogs' basketball team. She is second in Butler history in three-pointers made.

AT ELMHURST HIGH: All-state softball player as a senior...four-year all-conference selection...all-area two seasons...North All-Star...two-time captain...owns school records for hits in a season and career, RBIs in a season and batting average in a season and career...honorable mention all-state basketball player...earned four varsity basketball letters and two in volleyball...high school softball coach: Cheryl Sherbondy.
