Butler To Host Notre Dame College At Midwest Sports Complex

Butler's non-conference doubleheader against Notre Dame College on Friday, March 30, will be played at Midwest Sports Complex at 7511 New Augusta Road in Indianapolis. The games were moved to the northwest Indianapolis park because the Butler Softball Field is still undergoing renovations. The first game of the twinbill is slated for 2 p.m.

The Bulldogs will be facing former head coach Tom Spencer, who's now at the helm of Notre Dame. Spencer coached at Butler from 2003 to 2005. He's guided Notre Dame to a 10-3 record this season.

Butler (9-10) is facing its third doubleheader this week. The Bulldogs split twinbills with Bellarmine and Bradley earlier in the week. Butler will begin Horizon League play on Saturday, March 31, at Wright State.
