Bulldogs Beat Youngstown State, 5-2

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Butler women's tennis team swept doubles play and won four of six singles matches to defeat Youngstown State, 5-2. The Bulldogs have now won three straight matches.

BU (8-9) took all three doubles matches for an early 1-0 lead. Youngstown State managed wins at Nos. 1 and 2 but the Dawgs took everything else. Cam Thompson won handily at No.5 singles 6-2, 6-3 and Brittany Farmer (No. 6) cruised 6-0, 6-2. Becky Jenkins won at No. 3 singles and Molly Casperson won at the fourth spot, both in straight sets.

Butler has four matches remaining, all against Horizon League opponents.
