Jenkins Picks Up BU's Lone Win At Xavier

MATCH RESULTS - Xavier 6, Butler 1

CINCINNATI - Senior Becky Jenkins won at No. 4 singles and at No. 1 doubles, but that was all the Butler women's tennis team could manage in a 6-1 loss at Xavier Tuesday afternoon.

Jenkins was the bright spot of the day for the Bulldogs. She posted an 8-6 win with senior teammate Molly Casperson at No.1 doubles and followed that with a dominating 6-1, 6-0 victory at the No. 4 spot.

Xavier won the other two doubles contests and the other five singles matches.

Butler returns to the court Friday, Feb. 26 at Dayton.
