OXFORD, Ohio - The Butler women's tennis team was swept by nationally-ranked Miami (Ohio) Saturday night, 7-0. The loss snaps a three-match win streak for the Bulldogs.
The RedHawks, ranked 70th in the ITA women's team rankings, swept the doubles points while losing just one game. MU won all six singles matches in straight sets. Senior Molly Casperson had the most success for Butler, winning seven games before falling 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3 singles.
Butler (4-5) returns to the court Tuesday, Feb. 23 at Xavier.
