INDIANAPOLIS - The Butler women's tennis team won every match to cruise to a 7-0 win over IUPUI Saturday evening. It was BU's first dual match win of the season.

The Bulldogs dominated doubles play, quickling winning Nos. 1 and 2 doubles to claim the point. Moments later, senior Gabriella Bobrowski and sophomore Brittany Farmer quickly finished the doubles sweep with an 8-1 win.

Senior Natali Jaimes scored a 6-4, 6-2 win at the top of the lineup to set an early tone for the Bulldogs, who swept through with wins. Five of the six spots were won in straight sets. Freshman Caroline Hedrick won in a 6-1, 6-3 rout at No. 2 and fellow frosh Stephanie McLoughlin cruised 6-2, 6-2 in the third spot.

Bobrowski won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4 and freshman Gabrielle Rubenstein won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6 singles. Sophomore Brittany Farmer also won, defeating Lee Matthews in three sets 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (5).

Butler is off until Feb. 23 when it hosts Xaver.
