The Butler women's tennis team finished its regular season with an Ohio split, losing 7-0 at Cleveland State and winning 4-3 at Youngstown State. The weekend placed BU fourth in the league standings and as the No. 4 seed in the upcoming league tournament.

The Bulldogs will open Horizon League Tennis Championships play Friday, April 27 against No. 5 seed Wright State.

BU was swept by Cleveland State on Saturday. The next day, BU edged Youngstown State because YSU only had four active players. The difference in the match was a 6-1, 6-3 win by senior Cam Thompson at No. 4 singles.  Sophomores Caroline Hedrick and Angelina Qin also contributed a victory, winning 8-4 together at No. 2 doubles.

Butler finished the regular season with an 8-14 record (5-3 Horizon League).
