CINCINNATI - Laura Shull won a third-set tie-breaker at No. 5 singles to lead the Butler women's tennis team at Cincinnati. The Bearcats won at every other spot to claim a 6-1 win over the Bulldogs.
Shull won 6-4, 2-6, 10-7 against UC's Kristina Georgieva. Caroline Hedrick, playing No. 2 singles, was the other Butler player to take a Beatcat to three sets. Hedrick was up a set 6-4 but lost 6-3, 10-7 the rest of the way in a tightly-contested match.
Butler's next match is at home against UNC-Wilmington Wednesday, March 6.
