BU Splits 2 Matches
The Butler women’s tennis team split two matches over the weekend, defeating IUPUI 5-2 and losing to Illinois 5-2. Junior Gabriella Bobrowski and freshman Brittany Farmer led the Bulldogs by going 2-0 in both singles and doubles play.

Butler Women's Tennis Drops 2
The Butler women’s tennis team dropped a pair of matches over the weekend. BU began the weekend by falling 7-0 at Louisville and followed that with a 7-0 setback at No. 45 DePaul Saturday afternoon.

Bulldogs Fall In Season Opener At IU
The Butler women’s tennis team opened the 2010 season at nationally-ranked Indiana Sunday, losing 7-0 to the No. 46 Hoosiers.

Bulldog Women’s Tennis Aiming For League Title
In the Horizon League, the women’s tennis championship has resided at UIC for the past 13 years. The Bulldog women’s tennis team is shooting to bring the trophy to Butler, and head coach Jason Suscha thinks the 2010 Bulldogs have what it takes to challenge the Flames.

Butler Tennis Teams Hosting Homecoming Alumni Matches
Butler fans and alumni planning on attending Saturday’s Homecoming festivities are encouraged to Butler tennis at the new outdoor tennis courts beginning at 10:30 a.m. The new facilities are located just south of Varsity Field and the IM fields on the other side of the canal.

Farmer, Thompson Bring Home Titles At Ball State
Butler’s Brittany Farmer won the B flight singles title and teamed with sophomore Cam Thompson to win the B doubles flight to lead the Butler women’s tennis team at the Ball State Fall Invitational. Farmer, a freshman, improved to 6-1 on the year.

Jenkins Wins B Flight At Illinois State Tourney
Four Bulldogs reaching the semifinals in the top three flights and senior Becky Jenkins winning the B flight title highlighted play for the Butler women’s tennis team at the Illinois State recently. BU’s Brittany Farmer placed second in the C singles flight and Molly Casperson finished 3rd in the A flight.
