Women's Tennis Sweeps Shorthanded IUPUI, 6-0

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Butler women's tennis team made quick work of host IUPUI on Wednesday (April 16), as the Bulldogs swept the Jaguars, 6-0, for their 10th-straight dual meet victory.
Playing an IUPUI squad that had only five players available, the Bulldogs rolled to strong showing in doubles play before claiming all five singles bouts in two sets.
Butler continued to click on all cylinders in singles play. Natali Jaimes and Jenkins both dropped only one game in their bouts, with Jaimes tallying a 6-0, 6-1 decision at No. 2 and Jenkins scoring a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 4. Casperson added a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1, while Gabriella Bobrowski scored a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 3.
Valerie Vinluan, meanwhile, picked up her first dual meet singles victory of the year, scoring a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 5.
Butler closes out the regular season at UIC on Saturday (April 19).
