The Butler women's tennis wraps up its fall campaign this week when it heads to East Lansing, Mich., for the ITA Midwest Regional on the campus of Michigan State.
Junior Molly Casperson and sophomore Natali Jaimes will represent the Bulldogs in singles competition, with junior Becky Jenkins serving as an alternate. Jaimes and sophomore Gabriella Bobrowski will team up in the doubles bracket, as will Casperson and Jenkins.
This week's action will be the Bulldogs' first competition since the Ball State Fall Invitational from Sept. 26-27, where Jaimes, Jenkins and freshman Cam Thompson each picked up titles.
Jaimes notched four-straight two-set victories in the tournament's A Flight, including a two-set win over Casperson in the finals, to score the top flight's championship. Jenkins also scored four straight-set wins in the B Flight for the title, while Thompson picked up the C Flight championship with four decisions of her own.
Jaimes' effort in the A Flight also earned her the Horizon League's Women's Tennis Player of the Week honors.
