Nikki Fowler, an All-American player at Tennesse, joined Butler's volleyball coaching staff in 2011. She will serve as the team's director of operations.
Fowler, a native of Dallas, Texas, earned a long list of accolades during her standout career at Tennessee. In addition to being picked as a COSIDA Academic All-American, she was a three-time AVCA All-American honoree and first team All-SEC player three times.
Fowler finished her playing career in the school's top 10 in seven categories. A native of Dallas, Texas, she stands first all-time in attacks (4,426), third in attacks per set (9.54), fourth in kills (1,649), sixth in kills per set (3.55), sixth in digs (1,281), seventh in digs per set (2.76) and eighth in blocks (344). During her senior year, she was voted SEC Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year.
"Nikki has a history of exceeding expectations in everything she does. As an Academic All-American, she excelled both on the court and in the classroom at Tennessee," Clark said. "Her enthusiasm for providing the best quality experience for our student-athletes is infectious and will be a great addition to our program."
Fowler graduated from Tennessee in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in marketing.
