Butler Volleyball Coaches Present at AVCA Spring Conference

INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler women's volleyball coaches took time out of their busy schedules to attend and present at the 2014 AVCA Spring Conference from May 1-3. The convention was held in Chicago, Ill. with the Bulldogs presenting their "Using Free of Low Cost Technology Tools to Help You Succeed" lecture on Friday, May 2.

Assistant Coach Lenika Vazquez presented on Google Drive and explained the benefits of using drives as a way to streamline communication, while fellow assistant coach, Dottie Porch, presented on a free video breakdown system called "StatEasy" which breaks down and stats video during the game or for scouting purposes. 

Head Coach Sharon Clark presented on "Coaches Eye" and "Ubersense" which are two video-taping systems through an app on the IPad which is useful for taping practice and instantly giving video feedback to the players.

Other coaches to get involved as speakers at the 2014 AVCA Spring Conference included Kelly Sheffield of Wisconson, Anne Kordes of Louisville, Kevin Hambly of Illinois, Hugh McCutcheon of Minnesota and many, many more.
