Jessica Wolfe Named AVCA All-Midwest Region
Junior outside hitter Jessica Wolfe was named Midwest All-Region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). Wolfe, the Horizon League’s leader in kills and points, was one of 14 players in the Midwest to receive the honor.

Volleyball Season Ends With 3-1 Loss In Quarterfinal
Butler’s best volleyball season in recent years came to an end Friday night as the No. 4 seed Bulldogs lost to No. 5 UIC, 3-1, in the quarterfinal of the Horizon League Volleyball Championship at Cleveland State. The Bulldogs finish the season 21-14.

Trio Of Bulldogs Named All-Horizon League
A trio of Butler volleyball players have been named All-Horizon League, according to a vote by the league’s nine head coaches. Junior Jessica Wolfe and senior Porshia Allen were named to the 14-member all-league team, while freshman Gina Vera was voted to the all-newcomer team.

Bulldog Volleyball Ready For League Tournament
The Butler volleyball team will travel to Cleveland for the Horizon League Volleyball Championship this weekend. The Bulldogs, the No. 4 seed, will take on UIC in the quarterfinal Friday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. The lowest seed remaining will play regular season champion Cleveland State Saturday at 1 p.m.

Milwaukee Edges Butler, 3-1
Junior Jessica Wolfe had 22 kills on .391 hitting and added nine digs but Milwaukee defeated the Butler volleyball team, 3-1, in the Bulldogs’ regular season finale Saturday evening. With the loss, Butler enters the Horizon League Championship next weekend with a 10-6 league record and the No. 4 seed.

BU Volleyball Swept At Green Bay
The Butler volleyball team had its four-match winning streak snapped Friday night, as the Bulldogs dropped a 3-0 decision at Green Bay. The Bulldogs were held to .143 hitting and had to battle injuries early in the match.

Bulldogs In Wisconsin For Final Regular Season Weekend
The Butler volleyball team enters the season’s final regular-season weekend enjoying one of its finest seasons this decade. The Dogs are a game out of 2nd place and will try to catch Valparaiso and Cleveland State with two matches in Wisconsin, taking on Green Bay Friday, Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. BU’s contest at Milwaukee is set for 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dogs Edge UIC, Finish 9-0 At Home
Junior Jessica Wolfe had 15 kills and 19 digs and Butler hit .423 in the 5th set to roll to a 3-2 win over UIC Saturday night at Hinkle Fieldhouse. With the victory, the Bulldogs finish the season 9-0 at home.
