In the second match of the Butler Invitational, the Dons of San Francisco knocked off host Butler by a score of 26-30, 30-26, 30-23, 30-24. Brittanie Budinger had 28 kills and 16 digs for the Dons, which improved to 11-0 on the season. The Bulldogs fell to 7-4 with one match remaining in the Invitational.

Butler held a consistent lead throughout the first game, as the Dons could never muster a run to take the lead after a Budinger service error tied the match at seven. San Francisco then won ten of the first 14 points in the second game to hold off the Bulldogs, 30-26. Budinger proved to be the difference in the last two games of the match, as the Bulldogs had no answer for her hitting.
