Butler's 2026-27 men's basketball schedule is now complete with the announcement of the Bulldogs' 20 BIG EAST conference games.
 
The Bulldogs will open the conference portion of their schedule Saturday, Dec. 12, traveling to Providence.
 
Game times and television information will be announced at a later date.
 
The entire 2026-27 BIG EAST Conference men's basketball schedule was announced Monday, a 110-game double round-robin slate for the seventh straight year.
 
Notes on Butler's 2026-27 BIG EAST Schedule:

• Butler's home BIG EAST schedule includes four weekend games in addition to hosting contests at Hinkle Fieldhouse on New Year's Eve and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
• Seven of Butler's 10 road BIG EAST games are on Saturdays.
• Butler's BIG EAST schedule includes at least one game on each day of the week for the first time in the Bulldogs' 14 seasons as a member of the conference.
• Butler's BIG EAST opener at Providence Dec. 12 is the earliest start to the conference schedule for the Bulldogs in their 14 seasons as a member of the conference.
• Butler's first home BIG EAST game is Wednesday, Dec. 23 when Marquette visits Hinkle Fieldhouse.
• The Bulldogs close out the regular season Saturday, March 6, hosting Seton Hall.

 
For the 45th consecutive year, the BIG EAST Tournament will be held at Madison Square Garden. It is college basketball's longest running conference postseason tournament played at the same venue. The 2027 tournament is scheduled March 10-13.
 
BIG EAST and Television Information:
The upcoming season marks the second of a six-year media agreement, which will span through 2030-31, encompassing coverage on FOX Sports (FOX, FS1), NBC Sports (NBC, Peacock), and TNT Sports (TNT, TBS, truTV and Max).  
 
Ticket Options for Bulldog Fans:

• Season tickets for the upcoming 2026-27 basketball season are on sale now at butlersports.com/seasontickets. Fans can email tickets@butler.edu or call the ticket office at 317-940-3647 for more information on securing season tickets.
• Non-conference mini-plans are customizable plans featuring 200-level chairback seats and include four games for only $165.
• Mini-plans that include select BIG EAST conference games are expected to go on sale in the coming days.
• Single-game tickets for both non-conference and BIG EAST games will go on sale later this month. In the days prior to that public on-sale, Butler season ticket holders, Bulldog Club members, mini-plan purchasers, and Butler faculty and staff will be offered presale access.
• Fans can purchase online or in person at the Butler Athletics Ticket Office at Hinkle Fieldhouse (which is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.).

 
About the 2026-27 Bulldogs: Butler alum Ronald Nored takes over head coaching duties at his alma mater after spending the last decade on coaching staffs in the NBA. The Bulldogs return five players from last season's roster, headlined by starters Jalen Jackson and Drayton Jones. Jackson helped the Bulldogs to the 2025 Greenbrier Tip-Off title and 5-1 start to the 2025-26 season before missing the remainder of the campaign due to injury. Butler's newcomers include Asim Djulovic, who starred for Mega Superbet in his native Serbia, and Samu Adler, who led his Salon Vilpas team to the Korisliiga league title and earned Player of the Year honors in his native Finland. Three of the team's incoming transfers averaged double figures last season: Treyson Anderson (North Dakota State), Jordan Ellerbee (Florida Gulf Coast), and Christian Moore (The Citadel); that trio joins two power conference additions in Eduardo Klafke (Ole Miss) and Samis Calderon (Kansas).
