Biography

2025-26 SEASON: Played in 26 games for the Bulldogs as a freshman, averaging 8.6 minutes per game...his playing time increased to an average of more than 14 minutes per game over the team's last nine contests of the season...averaged 2.0 points and 1.7 rebounds per game...shot 44 percent from the field and went 5-for-17 (29 percent) from three-point range...scored a season-best eight points on two occasions (at Marquette Feb. 7 and in the Dec. 22 win over NJIT)...pulled down a season-best seven rebounds in the Dec. 22 game against NJIT...had two assists in the season-opening win over Southern Indiana Nov. 5...made a pair of three-pointers in the Feb. 18 win at Georgetown...played a season-high 25 minutes against Seton Hall Feb. 15...made both of his shots from the field, scoring six points at SMU Nov. 15...posted seven points and three rebounds in the Nov. 8 win over IU Indy.

PRIOR TO BUTLER: Named 2024-25 first-team All-State by the North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association…consensus four-star recruit…scored more than 2,000 career points...averaged 24.4 points and 6.7 rebounds as a senior…led Southern High School to the 2025 3A State Championship Game...averaged 19.6 points and 7.6 rebounds as a junior as Southern High School posted a 25-5 record, earning a trip to the quarterfinals of the 2024 North Carolina Class 3A Tournament…on the EYBL circuit for Team CP3 during the summer of 2024, he averaged 11.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists…played with Team Loaded during the 2023 summer.

PERSONAL: Keith's father, Craig, played football at Lenoir–Rhyne, and was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the seventh round of the 1993 NFL Draft. The tight end played two seasons with the Steelers and one with the Jacksonville Jaguars (the expansion franchise's inaugural 1995 campaign).
